PM Ciolacu, about protest of Government employees: I will talk to them too, if necessary

Published on

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Monday in Targoviste, referring to the protest of Government employees, that if necessary, he will discuss with them.

„I was there, I have, as you well know, an advisor on this area. They have notified me, I have a head of the Chancellery. I’ll go back to Bucharest and I’ll talk to them, if this discussion is still necessary. (…) I know how much work is done in the Romanian Government and that is why I would like to get directly involved in the discussion with those who conducted this protest,” said Ciolacu, in response to a question from the press.

The employees of the Government’s working apparatus are taking part in a spontaneous protest on Monday, because their salary demands have not been settled.
