From July 1, gross minimum wage to increase to 3,700 RON

Gross minimum wage will increase to 3,700 RON, from July 1, and the facility granted to employers regarding the 200 RON exempt from taxes will be kept until the end of the year, said Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, on Thursday, at the end of the National Tripartite Council meeting.

„At the same time, we will maintain until the end of the year the facility granted to employers regarding the 200 RON exempt from taxes. We are in the right direction towards the implementation of the European minimum wage. This is the decision made today, together with unions and employers, in the Tripartite Council,” stated Marcel Ciolacu, in a post on the Government’s Facebook page, on Thursday.
