Her Majesty Margareta, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown and Her Royal Highness Prince Radu paid a visit to the NATO Support and Procurement Agency in Luxembourg on Thursday and met with Romanians working at the institution.

The Crown Custodian and Prince Radu were welcomed by NATO Support and Procurement Agency-NSPA General Manager Stacy Cummings and several members of the agency executive management.

Afterwards, Stacy Cummings presented to the Crown Custodian and Prince Radu the work of the agency, where several dozen Romanians work.

In turn, Her Majesty Margareta mentioned that the purpose of her visit to Luxembourg was to support the Republic of Moldova in its European path, while Prince Radu pointed out that the Romanian nation is oriented towards Western values.

Further on, the Crown Custodian and the Prince Consort had a short meeting with Romanian specialists working at the NATO Support and Procurement Agency in Luxembourg, this being the last item on the agenda of the visit to Luxembourg.

„We are worried at home about the fate of Ukrainians and our people in Bessarabia. The prospects are not good there. We stay every day with concern and we come to this part of Europe to tell them that too. We can’t sleep peacefully. We are very grateful for what you are doing, Romania’s reputation has grown a lot, especially thanks to you, to the generation that has recently come to the West,” His Royal Highness Prince Radu told the Romanian employees of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.

Romanian Ambassador to Luxembourg Alexandrina-Livia Rusu, as well as Romanian Defence Staff Director Brigadier General Valentin Branzei attended the meeting.

At the end of the Royal Family’s schedule in Luxembourg, Prince Radu told AGERPRES that both he and Her Majesty are grateful for this visit, because Romania’s position in NATO and the European Union has never been more admired and respected.
