The president of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), Toni Grebla, announced on Tuesday that approximately 100 million ballots were printed for the June 9 elections.
„For these elections, a number of approximately 100 million ballots have been printed and are being distributed in the territory, some 20 million ballots for each from the five rounds of elections on June 9”, Grebla told a press conference.
According to the head of the AEP, these ballots were printed at the Official Gazette, and all the materials, voting stamps, control stamps for the polling stations, stickers and others, were made at the National Printing Office.
Asked if there could be problems with the paper used for the ballots, so that the stamp could be printed on another part of it, Grebla said: „I have experimented. The paper is all taken from the State Reserves, so it is not purchased from the free market. As a result, it meets all the conditions. It does not present any problem in this regard.”
Electoral Central Bureaiu issued several decisions, including regarding the application of the stamp.
