The AUR Alliance will nominate its candidate for the presidential elections next Saturday at an extraordinary congress at the Roman Arenas, announces the party’s leader, George Simion. „I don’t back down from a fight,” said George Simion on Sunday evening on Realitatea Plus, according to inpolitics.ro.

„The main opposition force, the AUR alliance, is nominating its presidential candidate next Saturday. We will have discussions with colleagues, they will each tell their opinion. I don’t back down from a fight,” says George Simion. On the political vote, in the county councils, the AUR would have got 12%, and in the European parliamentary elections it got 14%.
