LOCAL ELECTION 2024/Partial results for Capital sector mayors

The partial results centralised by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) give the following names of mayors for the six sectors of Bucharest:

Sector 1: George Tuta (candidate of the Social Democratic Party – PSD – National Liberal Party – PNL electoral alliance) won the position of mayor of Sector 1, with 36.44% of the votes (24,323 votes), after the data from 122 polling stations was centralised. He is followed by Clotilde Armand (United Right Alliance) – 35.73% (23,850 votes).

Sector 2: Rares Hopinca (candidate of the PSD – PNL electoral alliance) won the mayor’s office with 43.78% of the votes (42,838 votes), followed by Radu Nicolae-Mihaiu (candidate of the United Right Alliance – Save Romania Union – USR – People’s Movement Party – PMP – Right Force), who obtained 42.01% of the votes (41,110 votes).

Sector 3: The PNL PSD candidate for mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoita, won a new mandate with 54.18% of the votes (71,044 votes), followed by the candidate of the United Right Alliance, Lucian Judele, who obtained 20.38% of the votes (26,729 votes), and third came independent candidate Ana Ciceala with 16.06% of the votes (21,057 votes).

Sector 4: Daniel Baluta, candidate of the PSD PNL electoral alliance, won a new mandate, obtaining 60.77% of the votes (63,020 votes), following the centralisation of the results from 170 polling stations, followed by the candidate of the United Right Alliance, Paul Ene, with 19.20% of the votes (19,907 votes).

Sector 5: Vlad Popescu Piedone (PUSL candidate) has won a new mandate as mayor of Sector 5, according to data centralised from 189 polling stations, with 43.79% of the votes (41,128). His main opponent – Alexandru – Paul Dimitriu (United Right Alliance USR – PMP – Right Force) – obtained 21.65% of the votes (20,334). In third place in this sector was the candidate of the PNL – PSD electoral alliance, Nicolae Vigheciu, who obtained 16.63% of the votes (15,625).

Sector 6: Liberal Ciprian Ciucu (PSD – PNL candidate) won a new mandate as mayor of Sector 6, after the data from 222 polling stations (up to 12.00 noon) was centralised, with 72.83% of the votes (95,598 votes). His main opponent – Mihaela Stefan (United Right Alliance USR – PMP – Right Force) – obtained 11.60% of the votes (15,228 votes). AGERPRES
