The government on Thursday allocated about RON 33 million to the Ministry of Finance for the preparation of the new infrastructure necessary to combat customs fraud and tax evasion, governmental spokesman Mihai Constantin told a news conference on Thursday at the Government House.
„Additional funds will go to the Ministry of Finance, mainly for the preparation of the new infrastructure necessary to combat customs fraud and tax evasion. We are talking about almost RON 33 million for the completion of customs projects at the border and for the scrapping of old scanners.”
According to Constantin, the government has also allocated almost RON 65 million worth of appropriations and over RON 30 million in appropriations for the commissioning of the E-Seal system, introduced to verify the traceability of road haulage.
