„President Klaus Iohannis asked the members of the Council to give their opinion on the candidacy of Mark Rutte for the position of Secretary General of NATO, declaring themselves in favor of Romania’s support of the candidacy of the Dutch Prime Minister,” according to a press release from the Presidential Administration.

On Thursday, the CSAT meeting took place at the Cotroceni Palace, the discussion agenda being focused on topics of priority interest from the perspective of the security environment and action priorities for Romania.
