The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Thursday, a Code Yellow warning of atmospheric instability, valid until Friday morning in almost half of the country.
According to the specialist forecast, between June 27, 12:00 – June 28, 3:00, in the counties of Alba, Arad, Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Cluj, Caras-Severin, Dolj, Gorj, Hunedoara, Harghita, Mehedinti , Maramures, Mures, Neamt, Sibiu, Salaj, Satu Mare, Suceava and Timis will be periods with torrential showers, wind intensifications (gusts of 50 – 70 km/h in general), gales, hail and electrical discharges.
At the same time, in short periods of time or through accumulation, the water quantities will be 20 – 30 l/m2 and, isolated, over 40 l/m2.
For the Capital area, until Friday, at 03:00, meteorologists estimate warm weather, with maximum temperatures of 33 – 34 degrees, respectively minimum of 17 degrees. The sky will be variable, more clear at night, the wind will generally blow moderately, with gust speeds of up to 30 – 35 km/h.
