The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued, on Thursday, a Code Yellow flood warning, valid until Friday noon on rivers in 19 hydrographic basins and on small tributaries of the Danube.

The rivers targeted by the Code Yellow warning cross the counties: Maramures, Satu Mare, Bistrita-Nasaud, Bihor, Cluj, Salaj, Arad, Hunedoara, Harghita, Mures, Alba, Sibiu, Timis, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, Dolj, Gorj, Suceava and Neamt.

The forecasted hydrological phenomena can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in the counties of: Maramures, Bistrita-Nasaud, Bihor, Arad, Timis, Suceava and Harghita.
