Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu thanked the Romanian national football team for their journey at EURO 2024, on Tuesday evening.

„Thank you to the national team! You managed to unite – again – all Romanians! Romania has a future!”, the head of the Government wrote on Facebook.

The Romanian national football team left the European Football Championship – EURO 2024, hosted by Germany, after being defeated by the Dutch team 3 – 0 (1 – 0), on Tuesday evening, at the Football Arena in Munich, in the round of 16.
