At a meeting today, the government is expected to approve over RON 3 billion in additional healthcare insurance appropriations for the Single National Healthcare Insurance Fund to secure the continuity of contracts between healthcare insurance houses and healthcare service providers in Q4 2024.

„These are contracts for primary healthcare, dentistry and clinical specialties,” Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said at the beginning of the meeting.

He added that the government will continue measures to encourage dual education through the Ministry of Agriculture, which will support 59 agricultural high schools.
