Sexual assault victims will also be able to file anonymous complaints, says PM Ciolacu

Published on

Victims of sexual assaults will also be able to file anonymous complaints, prime minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Wednesday at the beginning of the Government meeting.

„Another t thaopict we owed to the public opinion is the amendment of legislation to protect victims of sexual harassment. The main amendment is that victims of sexual assaults can also file anonymous complaints. In order for the complaint to be examined and resolved, it must contain indications of sexual or moral harassment. We also come with rules that allow universities and other institutions, including pre-university education units, to take measures to discourage this phenomenon,” Ciolacu explained.
