War in Ukraine/RO-ALERT message for residents in north of Tulcea county; no 112 calls have been recorded

Published on

The population of northern Tulcea county was warned on Thursday night about the possibility of falling objects on the national territory from the airspace, after the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) identified drones approaching Romania.

According to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Delta, the RO-ALERT message was transmitted at 01:00, and the air raid siren ceased 43 minutes later.

„No calls to the single emergency number 112 have been registered in the ISU Delta Tulcea dispatch center. We specify that these messages are intended to inform the citizens about the measures they can take for their safety,” said ISU Delta.

Tulcea is the only county in Romania on whose territory the MApN representatives have identified remnants of drones used by Russia in attacks on the Danube ports in Ukraine.
