Simplified registration procedure for investments in transport infrastructure of national interest and metro infrastructure

Published on

The government has approved the simplification of the procedure for land registration and registration in the Land Registry for investments in transportation infrastructure of national interest and the metro, government spokesman Mihai Constantin announced on Wednesday at a press conference at the Victoria Palace of Government.

„A set of legislative acts continues the line of investment support. The regulations introduced by emergency ordinance simplify the procedure of land registration and registration in the Land Registry for investments in transportation infrastructure of national interest and metro infrastructure managed by Metrorex. This amendment will shorten the deadlines for the completion of the investments, many of which are included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan,” Constantin said.

He added that another ordinance adopted by the Government brings clarifications regarding maintenance, repair and construction works on railway infrastructure, the purpose of which is to improve the conditions for traveling on the railways and increase sustainable mobility, „an important step towards reducing polluting emissions”.
