Alfred Bulai moved from preventive custody to house arrest

Published on

The Bucharest Court decided on Thursday that the sociologist Alfred Bulai should be placed under house arrest for the next 23 days, in the case in which he is accused of sexually assaulting female students from National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA).

Alfred Bulai was placed on preventive custody on September 5, following a decision of the Sector 1 Court, but he contested the decision of the magistrates.

The court accepted his appeal on Thursday and decided that he be placed under house arrest.

The decision is final.

Alfred Bulai is admitted to the „Carol Davila” Military Hospital, after having a heart attack in the Bucharest Police Detention Center.
