PM Ciolacu on Firefighters’ Day: We thank them for their humanity, professionalism and civic involvement

Published on

Firefighters have shown courage and solidarity in difficult missions at home and abroad, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Friday in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Romanian Firefighters’ Day, in which he thanked Romanian rescuers for their „humanity, professionalism and civic involvement.”

„Today we are celebrating the discreet heroes beside us, on whose help we rely when fires, floods or other emergencies endanger lives, homes and communities. We thank them for their humanity, professionalism and civic involvement! Courage and solidarity are values that know no borders. They have been proven by Romanian rescuers in difficult missions not only in Romania, but also in Greece, France and wherever they have been asked to intervene. We are grateful and wish them good health and success in their missions! Many happy returns of the day, dear firefighters!,” said Marcel Ciolacu.

Firefighters’ Day will be marked on Friday in the capital, but also nationwide through a series of events.
