Meeting between Roberta Metsola and Ursula von der Leyen ahead of tomorrow’s Conference of Presidents

Meeting between the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the sidelines of the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

„The European Parliament looks forward to discussing the proposed structure and portfolios of the European Commission as foreseen by our new rules.

We will then begin the necessary process of parliamentary scrutiny and hearings. Parliament is ready”, Metsola reported, publishing on X a photo with von der Leyen, defining the discussion as „positive” „in view of the meeting of the Conference of Presidents tomorrow morning”.
