Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Wednesday’s session higher on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s trading session with growth on most indices, and the value of exchanges amounted to 3.67 million RON (roughly 740k euros).

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered an appreciation of 0.04%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, registered a similar advance to the main index.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, increased by 0.02%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.04%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs fell by 0.20%, in the first 35 minutes from the start of the meeting, and BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered an appreciation of 0.09% .

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.03%.

The biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Bermas (+4.9%), Bittnet Systems (+2.44%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (+1.19%), while the shares of Premier Energy (-2.99%), Patria Bank (-1.32%) and One United Properties (-1.25%) were down.
