The seasonally adjusted series of the quarterly Gross Domestic Product for the previous periods has changed from the provisional version (1), published in the Press Release no. 229 of September 6, 2024, as a result of the revision of data for the period 2007-2023 and the revision of the estimates for the second quarter of 2024.

In the first version, the GDP growth as against Q1 2024 was 0.1%, and 0.8% year-on-year.

The Gross Domestic Product for the period 2007-2023 has been revised in order to ensure the implementation of some action points designed by Eurostat following the Gross National Income verification cycle, regarding the following aspects: ensuring consistency with the data of the Public Administration sector; improving FISIM estimates; improving insurance calculation estimates; partial improvements in the final consumption of households.
