Nearly 150,000 homes benefit from the Green House Programme, accessed in the last two years, so that the number of Romanians who use green electricity is 450,000, with an average of three people per family, secretary of state with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests (MMAP) Bogdan Balaniscu told a specialist conference on Monday.
„There are financing lines with significant impact among the population. For example, we managed to make the Photovoltaic Green House Programme very efficient in the last two years. Last year, the programme had about 80,000 beneficiaries, and this year the programme has just ended and we are talking about about 67,000 Romanian homes that will benefit from photovoltaic panels. (…) In two years, we are talking about almost 150,000 homes, which probably means around 450,000 Romanians, the statistical average being three people per family. So, we are talking about about 450,000 Romanians who benefit from green electricity,” Bogdan Balaniscu said at the conference „CSR and Sustainability,” organised by Ziarul Bursa.
According to him, the storage source, that is the accumulators, received funding as well, which means additional benefits both for the house where the photovoltaic panels will be installed and for the installers working within the programme, as the amount of financing increased from 20,000 lei to 30,000 lei.
