The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informed on Friday that, according to the information sent by the Spanish authorities, a person on the list of Romanian citizens reported missing was identified as deceased.

The Ministry, through the Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana and the Romanian Embassy in Madrid, is verifying the information regarding the other Romanian citizens reported as missing.

The Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana remains ready to provide consular assistance according to requests.

The Romanian Embassy in Madrid and the consular office in Castellon de la Plana maintain permanent contact with the Spanish authorities and the Romanian citizens who reported the missing persons.
