• „Romania and Bulgaria are already partially in the Schengen area, in the Schengen Air and it must be said that they have behaved admirably, I would say beyond expectations.

We have a very good dialog at the moment with Romania and Bulgaria, at the level of the Interior and Foreign Ministries and at the level of the Presidency.

I am personally absolutely convinced that this dialog will lead to the full accession of RO and BG to the Schengen area as soon as possible.
