Turnover from market services provided mainly to enterprises decreased by 3.3%, as gross series, in the first eleven months of 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, according to data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).

According to the same source, between January 1 and November 30, 2024, decreases were reported in transport activities (-7.6%), computer and information technology related services (-3.4%) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (-2.4%).

At the same time, increases were recorded in cinematographic, video, television programme production activities; broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+8.9%) and communications activities (+0.4%).

As adjusted series, depending on the number of business days and seasonality, the turnover in market services provided mainly to enterprises decreased by 3.1%, year-on-year.

INS data reveal that, in November of last year, compared to the same period in 2023, turnover in market services provided to enterprises, as gross series, decreased by 8%, as a result of: IT and information technology related services (-17.3%), transport activities (-10%) and other services provided mainly to enterprises (-4.4%). At the opposite side of the scale, increases were recorded in: cinematographic, video, television programme production activities; broadcasting and transmission of programmes (+3.8%) and communications activities (+1.6%).

Turnover in market services provided mainly to enterprises, as adjusted series, was also in the negative, by 8.8%, compared to the reference period.

Also, in November 2024 versus October 2024, market services provided to enterprises recorded decreases both in gross series (-3.5%) and as adjusted series (-0.5%).
