BVB stocks open Thursday’s trading session lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened lower on Thursday, on trades of RON 4.756 million (EUR 955,925) half an hour into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks fell by 0.12%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks also declined 0.12%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks declined 0.08%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.08%.

The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks was down 0.77%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.09%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Mecanica Fina (+14.74%), Sinteza (+14.71%) and Romcab (+14.59%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Mecanica Ceahlau (-9.73%), Chimcomplex Borzesti (-1.83%) and Vrancart (-1.67%)
