Bucharest Stock Exchange opens higher on most indices on Monday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday with gains on most indices, with turnover reaching 7.95 million RON (1.5 million euros) 30 minutes after the start of the session.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.09%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an advance of 0.08%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up by 0.04%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.08%.

At the same time, the BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a decrease of 0.40%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an appreciation of 0.01%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.83%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values ??were recorded by the companies Condmag (+11.11%), Casa de Bucovina – Club de munte (+7.64%) and Chimcomplex (+5.19%).

On the other hand, the shares of Romcab (-14.89%), Aeta (-14.85%) and Sinteza (-14.57%) were decreasing.
