Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the red Friday’s trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s session downwards, with transactions worth 3.07 million RON (618,108 euros) 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.02%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a similar decline.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.05%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.14%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded an appreciation of 0.26%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw an advance of 0.07%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.08%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Condmag (+5.56%), Compa (+2.8%) and Carbochim (+2.04%).

On the other hand, the shares of Romcab (-14.77%), Sinteza (-14.72%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-3.6%) were down.
