President Iohannis decorates CCR president and two judges

President Klaus Iohannis signed on Monday the decree for decorating President of the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) Marian Enache, as well as CCR judges Livia Stanciu and Attila Varga.

According to the Presidential Administration, „in recognition of their high competence and professionalism demonstrated in the area of constitutional justice, for their activity in guaranteeing the supremacy of the Constitution, its values, and the democratic path of the Romanian state,” President Klaus Iohannis awarded the three judges the National Order of the „Star of Romania” in the rank of Knight.

On July 13, 2016, Livia Stanciu, Attila Varga and Marian Enache took the oath of office before President Klaus Iohannis.

Livia Stanciu was appointed judge at the CCR by President Klaus Iohannis, Attila Varga by the Chamber of Deputies, and Marian Enache by the Senate, for a nine-year mandate.

Marian Enache was elected President of the Constitutional Court in June 2022.
