CNAB: Air traffic in winter conditions, aircraft land and take off safely

Published on

Air traffic takes place in winter conditions at Henri Coanda International Airport and Bucharest Baneasa – Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, and flights may be delayed due to the need to de-ice the aircraft, which is carried out after boarding passengers.

According to an information from the Bucharest National Airport Company (CNAB), there are no flights canceled due to weather.

Runways, platforms and aircraft taxiways are open and operational at all times. Aircraft land and take off safely.

It constantly intervenes with its own equipment to maintain the moving surfaces in good operating conditions at both airports of the Capital.

„Flights may be delayed due to the need to de-ice the aircraft, which is carried out after passengers have boarded. We recommend that passengers take all measures to arrive at the airport on time,” said CNAB representatives.
