Romania’s Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on Friday met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels.
Ciolacu was in Brussels on Friday for consultations with the President of the European Commission on the renegotiation of Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, but also to discuss the regional and global security situation amidst ongoing negotiations in search of a solution to end the war in Ukraine.
The schedule of the visit to Brussels includes a one-on-one meeting between Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as a plenary meeting of the Romanian government delegation with a delegation of the European Commission.
The official delegation accompanying Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu to Brussels includes Minister of Finance Tanczos Barna and Minister of European Investment and Projects Marcel Bolos.
