PM Ciolacu: Two major American companies are entering Romania

Published on

Two major American companies are entering Romania, announced Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on Thursday, ahead of the government meeting.

„I want to highlight the fact that two major American companies are entering Romania. One is taking over a starch plant and the other will be working on the Neptun Deep project alongside Petrom and Romgaz,” said the prime minister.

According to him, such investments represent „an additional security umbrella” for Romania.

„I believe that such investments, in the current context, represent an additional security umbrella for Romania, and I hope that this formula will also be the decisive step in finally achieving a sustainable peace agreement in Ukraine,” Marcel Ciolacu said.
