Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu had a meeting on Tuesday at the Government House with interim President Ilie Bolojan on the agenda of the European Council of March 20-21.
„Romania’s voice will be heard and will matter at European level, only if we do our homework very well. I discussed today very diligently at the Government House with the interim president, Mr Ilie Bolojan, issues that will be on the agenda of the next European Council on March 20-21. We need decisions that strengthen the security of our Romania and the European Union. Romania will also reiterate its position not to send troops to Ukraine,” Ciolacu wrote in a social media post.
The Presidency and the Government must work together for the good of Romania, said Ciolacu. „Only this means normality and balance. Anything else is just chaos.”
