Most BVB stock indices down 50 minutes into Tuesday;s session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly lower on Wednesday on trades of RON 4.6 million (EUR 924,569) 50 minutes into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks was down 0.21%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks was down 0.20%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was down 0.21%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.31%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks increased by 0.20% while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.18%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Electromagnetica (+14.04%), Compania Energopetrol (+12.73%) and Promateris (+6.36%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Socep (-4.04%), Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-4.03%) and Antibiotice (-3.11%).
