Bucharest Stock Exchange open mixed on Monday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) indices recorded mixed developments in the opening of Monday’s session, with total transactions amounting to 3.69 million RON (741,820 euros), 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a depreciation of 0.17%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a decrease of 0.18%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was slightly up, 0.01%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, lost 0.09%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs rose by 1.93%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down 0.27%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.40%.

According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Lion Capital (+6%), Carbochim (+3.77%) and Sinteza (+3.6%).

On the other hand, the shares of Patria Bank (-2.42%), Erste Group Bank (-2.31%) and UCM Resita (-1.89%) were down.
