The government is set to approve on Wednesday the norms for accessing holiday vouchers, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced.

„Today we are approving the rules for accessing the holiday vouchers with a simple reimbursement mechanism. Basically, beneficiaries submit an affidavit stating that they contributed 800 lei of their own money, that they used the 800 lei provided by the government, and they present an invoice of at least 1,600 lei to be reimbursed,” the PM explained at the beginning of the Cabinet meeting.

In the context of the upcoming Easter holiday, he also called on public authorities to take all necessary measures so that Romanians can celebrate this important holiday „in peace and safety, wherever they may be.”
