Bucharest Stock Exchange opens on the rise on Thursday on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s session on the rise on most indices, with transactions amounting to 2 million lei (402,097 euros) 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an increase of 0.30%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, went up 0.28%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.29%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, inched 0.23%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs went up 0.34%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw an advance of 0.29%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.37%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Transilvania Investments Alliance (+5.14%), Romcarbon (+4.40%) and BVB (+1.98%).

On the other hand, the shares of Romcab (-10.99%), Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-1.54%) and Vrancart (-0.96%) were down.
