The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday’s trading session with increases on most indices, and a turnover amounting to 4.15 million RON (834,614 REUR), after 55 minutes from the start of trading.
The main index BET, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.23%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, went up 0.22%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.19%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, increased by 0.09%.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was up 0.02%, while the BET-NG index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector rose by 0.15%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was down 0.30%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share values were recorded by Romcarbon (+2.06%), Vrancart (+1.44%) and Bursa de Valori Bucuresti (+1.24%).
Conversely, there was downward trend in the shares of Altur (-4.55%), Roca Industru Holdingrock (-3.01%) and Sinteza (-2.65%).
