Prime minister Mark Carney achieved a historic victory in Canada on Tuesday, promising to triumph over the US in the trade war launched by Donald Trump and that he will never forget the American „betrayal.”

However, the Liberals could fail to obtain a majority in Parliament and would therefore be forced to govern with the support of another party. The vote count is still underway in some regions.
