The Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, condemned the Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital and stated that the embassy staff were safe, after one strike hit only 850 meters away from the Romanian Embassy in Kyiv.
„I strongly condemn Russian missile strikes against civilian objectives in Kyiv’s s center & other Ukrainian cities, in blatant violation of int’l humanitarian law, resulting in loss of human lives. Glad that the personnel of Romanian Embassy is safe, even if one strike hit only 850 m away of its HQ”, Bogdan Aurescu wrote on Twitter.
The Ukrainian army said that Russia launched 75 missiles on Ukraine on Monday morning, in a series of bombings on several cities of the country, informs AFP and Reuters, Agerpres reads.
Several explosions took place in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, as well as in the cities of Lviv, Ternopil and Dnipro.
