Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the green Wednesday’s session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s session in the green, total transactions amounting to 7.4 million lei (1.4 million euros), 30 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, inched up 0.23%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 0.22%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.22%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, increased by 0.14%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs went up 0.11%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.45%.

The BET AeRO index, which references 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.78%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (9.12%), the Globinvest Energy&financials ETF Open-Ended Investment Fund (6.71%) and Sinteza (4.80%).

On the other hand, the shares of Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-1.33%), Conpet (-1.02%) and Safetech Innovations (-0.88%) were down. AGERPRES
