The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on most indices on Friday, with turnover amounting to 9.01 million lei (1.77 million euros) after the first 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the twenty most liquid companies, was up 0.17%, and the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the forty-three most liquid shares on the BVB, was also up 0.17%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, comprising the twenty-five most liquid securities, recorded an increase of 0.24%, while the investment funds’ benchmark index BET-BK rose 0.37%.
The BET-FI index of the SIFs was up 0.56%, while BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, appreciated 0.28%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes twenty representative companies from the AeRO market, recorded a decline of 0.52%.
According to BVB data the biggest increases in share prices were recorded by AAGES (+4.88%), Premier Energy PLC (+4.4%) and Compa (+3.1%).
On the other hand the shares of Artego (-7.21%), Prefab (-7.04%) and Sphera Franchise Group (-1.31%) were down. AGERPRES
