Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete stated on Friday in Cluj that the Monobloc Pediatric Hospital proposed by the County Council (CJ) could be funded through the National Investments Programme for Health Infrastructure.
„The Monobloc Pediatric Hospital which I support … we are trying to secure and identify, as of next year, a funding from the National Investments Programme for Health Infrastructure, which is a programme funded through a loan from the European Investment Bank worth 13 million lei. The loan has been in place since 2022 and will most likely be activated for investment projects that are at an advanced stage, as is the case in Cluj. But we remain in contact, do not take this as a promise, we are analysing all options and of course we are trying to support this construction, which is important,” Rogobete said.
The Monobloc Pediatric Hospital in Cluj is expected to have 510 beds for continuous hospitalisation, with a further 50 beds for day hospitalisation and 65 beds for accompanying persons.
