Deputy Prime Minister Cătălin Predoiu received the International Public Service Award in Washington at the Alliance 2025 Gala for his contribution to strengthening the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United States.

„The increasingly strong relationship with the US is essential for Romania’s security, for our national interests, for the peace and security of Romanian citizens. This partnership must be continuously developed, with ongoing contact and dialogue at all levels, and I believe that this is the duty of every Romanian politician,” said Predoiu.

The award is an international recognition of his sustained efforts in support of the Romanian-American bilateral relationship, which is essential for Romania’s security, stability, and development.

During the event, former US Ambassador to Romania Mark Gitenstein highlighted the impact of his work, stating that „Romania would need ten people like Cătălin Predoiu.”
