Bucharest stocks win over 7 billion RON in capitalisation this week

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) earned 7.269 billion RON in capitalisation, 0.63pct, this week, with trading value increasing by 55.63pct against the previous week, according to Agerpres.

According to the data published by BVB, consulted by AGERPRES, the market capitalisation reached 185.704 billion RON, between 31 October and 4 November 2022, from 178.435 billion RON in the week of 24 to 28 October 2022.

Transactions with shares generated a turnover of 113.134 million RON, up from 72.694 million RON in the previous week.

The best trading day at the BVB was Monday, 31 October, when there was a turnover of 26.558 million RON, and the worst day, Wednesday, 2 November, with a transaction value of 20.732 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange – BET – closed the week at 10,890.38 points.

OMV Petrom shares were the most liquid securities on the main segment of the BVB, generating transactions of 31.087 million RON and a stagnation in price.

In the transactions ranking there are also the securities of Banca Transilvania, with exchanges of 23.148 million RON (1.14pct) and the shares of Fondul Proprietatea, with transactions of 11.055 million RON (1.48pct).

The most important increases in quotations were registered by the shares of Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+14.81pct), Uztel (+14.67pct) and Romcarbon (+13.02pct).

On the other hand, important decreases were recorded by Ves shares (-14.81pct), followed by those of Promatreis (-11.51pct) and Electroarges (-10.71pct).
