Arrears to general consolidated budget down 18.7% in December 2022

The arrears to the general consolidated budget decreased by 18.7%, in December 2022, compared to the previous month, to 282.59 million RON, from 347.7 million RON, according to data published on website of the Ministry of Finance (MF), Agerpres informs.

Arrears over 90 days decreased by 8.3%, from 72.4 million RON to 66.4 million RON, and those over 120 days decreased by 25%, from 224 million RON, in November, to 167.8 million RON in December 2022. At the same time, arrears over 360 days dropped from 51.3 million RON to 48.31 million RON (-5.85%).

According to the cited source, in terms of local budgets, arrears decreased by 19.86%, from 330.11 million RON (in November 2022) to 264.55 million RON (in December).

Debts more than 90 days past due decreased by 10.56%, to 62.7 million RON, those more than 120 days past due decreased by 25.66%, to 163.4 million RON, while arrears more than 360 days past due went down by 4.23%, to 38.5 million RON.

Arrears in the chapter „State budget and autonomous entities” increased from 17.60 million RON in November to 18.03 million RON in December 2022 (+2.5%).

Arrears over 90 days increased by 72.7%, to 3.8 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 4.76%, to 4.4 million RON, and those over 360 of days decreased by 12.5%, to 9.8 million RON.
