The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s trading session higher, with transactions of 3.052 billion lei (618.914 million euros), carried out in the first half-hour after the start of operations, write Agerpres.
According to the BVB, the value of bonds is 3.049 billion lei (618.458 million euros) and that of shares accounts for 2.170 million lei (440,083 euros).
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, appreciated 0.21%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares on the BVB, opened 0.24% higher.
Also, the BET-XT blue-chip broad index of the 25 most liquid stocks advanced 0.31%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, gained 0.31%.
The SIF’s BET-FI index was up 0.77% and BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities companies, rose 0.19%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, was down 0.68%.
According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Rompetrol Well Services (+12.64%), Impact Developer&Contractor (+3.38%) and Prebet Aiud (+2.72%).
On the other hand, Cemacon (-1.70%), Romcarbon (-1.05%) and Alro (-0.90%) shares were down.
