President of NATO Military Committee to visit Romania

The Minister of National Defence, Angel Tilvar, and the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Daniel Petrescu, will meet, on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence, with the President of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Robert Bauer, on the occasion of the visit of the high allied official to Romania, over April 11-14, write Agerpres.

According to a press release of the MApN, in this context, discussions are planned regarding the security situation in the Black Sea region, the dynamics of the implementation of allied deterrence measures and the defence of the Euro-Atlantic space, NATO operations and missions, as well as this year’s major training events.
