Diplomatic parity // Employees of the Russian Embassy in Chisinau leave the territory of the Republic of Moldova

Published on

Dozens of Russian diplomats, as well as their families, are leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova today. A special plane has landed at the Chisinau Airport and is going to pick up the representatives of the Russian Embassy, write deschidemd.ro.

Later, the aircraft will transport diplomats to Moscow. We remind you that at the end of July the Government announced that the number of accredited diplomats and „technical-administrative” employees working at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau will be reduced from over 80 people to 25.

Chisinau’s decision comes as a result of numerous unfriendly actions towards the Republic of Moldova, which are not related to the diplomatic mandate, as well as attempts to destabilize the internal situation in our state.
