Romanian gymnast Ana Maria Barbosu, bronze medallist on floor at the 2024 Olympic Games, won two silver medals at the international artistic gymnastics competition „Trofeo Cittŕ di Jesolo,” held in Italy on Saturday and Sunday.
Barbosu took silver on beam, scoring 13.750 points, finishing behind only Italy’s Manila Esposito, who scored 14.700 points. The bronze went to another Italian, Alice D’Amato, with 13.300 points. She also won silver on floor, with a score of 13.500 – the same as Spanish gymnast Alba Petisco, who claimed gold thanks to a higher execution score. The bronze in this event went to Italy’s Emma Fioravanti, with 13.300, according to the Romanian Gymnastics Federation’s Facebook page.
In the uneven bars, Lilia Cosman finished fourth, scoring 13.250 points.
