AUR’s head Simion says co-ruling with PSD, PNL out of the question

The president of the Alliance of the Union of Romanians (AUR), George Simion, states that he excludes participation, after the elections, in a government with (National Liberal Party, PNL’s head, ed. n.) Nicolae Ciuca and (Social Democratic Party, PSD’s head, ed. n.) Marcel Ciolacu.

„If it’s not clear: I exclude participation in a government with Ciuca and Ciolacu. Alliance only with Romanians!” the AUR leader wrote on Tuesday in a Facebook post.

Previously, AUR deputy Dan Tanasa reacted to the statements made by PSD MEP Mihai Tudose, stating that AUR is the only party that is in real opposition to PNL and PSD.

„I heard Mihai Tudose claim that he does not rule out an alliance with AUR. What Tudose does not understand is that AUR is already in an alliance with the Romanians. AUR is the only party that is in real opposition to PNL and PSD and we will continue to doing this. We are the only ones who can put an end to this disastrous government. With the help of the Romanians, we can give a patriotic government that will fight for the country, not against it,” said Dan Tanasa, in a post on the official Facebook page of AUR.
